Depot manager, TPN Dagenham

We need a manager to run our TPN Dagenham depot (RM9). The depot manages the collection and delivery of pallets to customers and trunking operations.

The role comes with a £50,000 pa salary and a fully expensed company car.

The role is very hands-on, working with a small team. You’ll take full responsibility for all operational activity and the commercial development of the location.

You will ensure that efficiency and performance is maximised, while working to an agreed operational budget. You’ll develop the team and ensure that all compliance, and health and safety areas are covered. You will take active responsibility for sales activity and the development of the operation.

Do you have…
> Previous operational/depot management experience in a hands-on capacity?
> Experience of working within the distribution sector, preferably with pallet network experience?
> Very good communication skills and the ability and desire to develop people?
> Experience of working in a similar environment with HGVs and FLTs?

It will also be useful to have a transport management CPC.
